Ferrovanadiumist eine Eisenlegierung, die durch Reduktion von Vanadiumpentoxid mit Kohlenstoff in einem Elektroofen gewonnen wird. Sie kann auch durch Reduktion von Vanadiumpentoxid mit der Silizium-Thermomethode eines Elektroofens gewonnen werden.
Ferrovanadium wird häufig als Elementzusatz beim Schmelzen von vanadiumhaltigem legiertem Stahl und legiertem Gusseisen verwendet und dient auch zur Herstellung von Permanentmagneten.
Die wichtigsten Ferrovanadiumprodukte von Zhen'an sind: Ferrovanadium 40, Ferrovanadium 50, Ferrovanadium 60, Ferrovanadium 80, Vanadiumpentoxid, Vanadium-Stickstoff-Legierung.
